Keep Bob Bradley Now
All I can do is say wow, just wow. That was the best performance I have ever seen by the United States defense.
This will be my last post on this site, Bob Bradley will be our coach through the World Cup.
I regret nothing, however, because I honestly think we saw the emergence of the United States Soccer fan throughout this tournament. I have never heard such loud voices from the soccer community here in the States, and though it came from wanting to get a man fired I feel that this type of passion displayed by the fans helped to inspire the team to come out against Egypt & Spain and win. We all read the comments after the Egypt match, the players knew that we were down on them and they used that to fuel their desire on the field. Hopefully both team & players can rekindle that passion on Sunday as well as August in Mexico City.

I just loled at this title.
I still don’t think Bradley’s the right man for the job; he’s too conservative. But the team is doing a hell of a job to make him look good. Hopefully we can play this way next year.
We did not win because of bradleys coaching we won because the team had something to prove and because our defense left everything on the field bob bradley did nothing except put bocanegra on left back and keep demeritt in he obviously didnt inspire anything at halftme because spain came out and we were sooo lucky
the defense is good but we are playing mls players with zero creativity, and a good portion of the defensive credit goes to tim howard who is our only player of real class imo. donovan is decent but hell never be class until he succeeds in europe. freddy is on the rise

Ahhhhh, the agony!!! losing to Brazil 2-3. Oh sweet Jesus, so so so so close! The only consolation I have is watching Brazil celebrate like they’ve won the World Cup after BARELY beating the US.
I don’t know what happened in the 2nd half?!! It was was like a different team. Instead of going in for the kill w/ the 3rd goal they played on their heels. Are you kidding me playing defense for 45 against Brazil, thats like trying to stay alive in 25 by 25yard tank a tank filled w/ 20 sharks. Look I love Josie 2 death but he was getting pushed around, not even using his beast weapon his physicality. Play Adu Bradley & stop with your BS explanations. 10 minutes in Spain or Italy is worth 110 minutes playing every single minute in the MLS. I am happy that the US went far but I don’t think players like Dempsey & Bradley will be vying for golden boot awards in future tournaments.
& honestly if Duga would have gotten over himself and brung Ronaldo & if Ronooldino would wake the hell up and gets back on the squad I think we would have seen a lot more Brazilian flare & early goals. I know both those guys will be on the World Cup squad. In Brazil they will not be impressed by a nail biter over the US.

He still should be fired. His subs in the 2nd half today were terrible, he went total defense mode and let Brazil pound us.
The players has success in this tournament despite BB, not because of BB. He still let us down.

To clarify, per FIFA rules, players who have been included to play in a national team for one country cannot play in an international match for another country (clubs are exempt of course). So once they make their choice, it’s made forever.

BB should be fired and Klinsmann needs to be given the keys to US Soccer. BB has no drive to win games. He coaches to keep games close and hopes that we can steal victories off of solid plays from his veterans like Landon. Yet the USNT showed what they can do when they attack fast and push the ball forward. BB is a good coach for the MLS but is clearly over matched on the international level.
In all of sports, from football, to American Football, to the NBA, the only way to control an attack is to create one of your own. When you throw 11 in the box, and make your key players, like Donovan, and Dempsey, defensive robots, there is no attack.
How does one generate an attack?
The 3 waves that the U.S. pushed into the second half, Holden crossed the ball with perfection, and Davies almost capitalized.

If you honestly in your heart of hearts believe that Bob Bradley is the man for this job, then so be it. But this man is destroying US Football.
The U.S. will not advance past the group stage in the World Cup if something doesn’t change real quick. The easiest thing to do would be to fire Bradley, but that may not be the best thing to do this late in the game. The real problem in my mind is the players he’s starting.
Ricardo Clark? Brian Ching? His son? These people are not going to carry us very far in the WC.
Altidore, Davies, Spector and Torres are the players that need to be getting as much PT as possible right now. They have the youth and the talent to make a difference in close games.
I´m from Chile and I can tell you that Bob Bradley would be fired right after the mess with Copa America, Gold Cup and Mexico. I cannot believe why the USA Soccer federation still keep him.
Regardless of the final results, USA soccer team has opened the hearts and minds of everyone. Soccer is the most beautiful, popular and biggest sport in earth. This requires compromise from authorities and as it is being done, a widespread movement to have kids enjoying and learning this great sport, that unites everyone.
Time, patience, effort and commitment are the keys, and it seems to have started here, finally,…regardless of any coach or any specific player.
You guys are big bunch of babies. You lost. You are an average team that won the group because of an under performing england side and lack of quality teams in the group. Get over it. Bob Bradley made decisions with the information he had. He sees the players in training every day and is on the forefront when monitoring players fitness levels and fatigue. You got too excited thinking you could do anything in the world cup once you won the group. You failed to convincingly beat algeria and you had too much of a rush to the head when Donovan scored in the last minute of the final group game. Stop complaining. This was a huge step forward for US soccer. The previous teams were a joke. John Harkes should be shot for his lousy commentating. It is clear that he understand very little about the game and even less when it comes to commentating soccer.
You lost, the US is not a very good team. Get over it. Even with the best coach in the world he cannot make the players perform better. Donovan sucks and this will be his last world cup. Half the US team will not return for the US in the next world cup. You should be happy about that.
Losers, blaming it on the coach. Take some responsibility in the fact that you have average players at best and you were never going to go far in the tournament anyway. You are a bunch of band wagon fans that watch soccer only when the US are in the world cup.

Michael was truly our icon. It’s really sad that we will never see this great superstar ever again. My prayers go out to his children on this one year anniversary of his death. I hope that doctor gets his medical license revoked.
